| when will you, if you will ever, delete all the accounts? i am tired of these spam accounts, they have brought down all the planets, especially earth. there are at the most 20 people playing out of 200 odd earthlings. and i dont like the cash cows idea either. we need some real competition among top players, instead of just attacking cash cows. we need to be forced to attack each other for money. this is the only way in which players will be forced to build attack and defense in order to stay ahead. please think about deleting all accounts at least for age 1 hope you liked your vacation. ill be out of town all august, so i wont join in for this beta sandeep ---- Wootton HS class of '06 | |||

| Yes, without pointing a finger, look at all the new accounts on the last pages. What planet are the majority from? Just curious. I think this round was great, minus a few sore spots. But at the end certain people scrambled to get ahead by any means the could. | While I agree that the spam accounts should get deleted, I want to make 2 points. 1- A lot of those accounts were created by Earth players, you guys even had a thread on your boards suggesting building extra accounts as a way to bring Venus down. Now you complain about how they effect you. sheesh! 2 - I asked Sasha about the effects on rankings and his response was ..Message from Sasha at July 17, 2004, 5:30 AM PDT No, it won't. Be aware that the dead accounts don't really make a big difference because everyone has them. When it is just attack + defense, (no average) the rankings become 15% Jupiter, 15% earth, and a small drop in Venus/Mars. The difference is very small I also did some calsulations of my own, based on the equation supplied by Sasha, and it worked out that 100 Venus accounts would need to be created to make a 10% impact on my personal score alone. That does not include the scores of the other Venus players at all. While these accounts are a pain, they do not really impact on total rankings. Stop looking for excuses as to why you lost. One change that would have a great impact would be to allow attacks on your own planet folk. This way the accounts that have been created as multis by players from other planets could be attacked. This is supposed to be a team game, so team alliance should protect the active players from attacks by their own kind. ---- Venus, The Winning Team | |||
