New feature: Defense Credits |
| Whenever you defend an attack successfully, you will now get some credits which can be used to buy defense weapons. | |||
| Thanks Sasha. | |||
| Great addition. ---- Fell out my chair... This could take a while. | |||
| What can I say? It's a something done to show he cares... ---- If you dislike any of this, let me know with the necessary reasons and I'll consider your point as well. | |||
| How about adding random events into battles? A storm causes loss of 10 soldiers or something. ---- Fell out my chair... This could take a while. | |||
| This is a great addition. Thank you very much. I am curious about how it functions, though. For attack credits, it is based on galos won (completely appropriate). For defense, the formula is not nearly as straight forward. If it is based (in any part) on turns used or soldiers lost, it is easily rendered useless with ping attacks (one turn attacks). The formula would have to be based on the percentage of attack verses the defense (regardless of turns used). I'm not requesting a change to a function that was just added. ;-) I am interested in defense credits being as useful as attack credits. Regards!! ---- I'm just a cheeseburger in paradise. | |||
| Great step forward! ---- Now Mr 1 Karma ;-0 | |||
| i agree with durelen. i do have an additional question though. why is attack more powerful than def? if i start at zero and buy one nuc. bomb and one anti air why is attack higher? ---- groovy..... | |||
| It is either your attack/defense upgrades, or it is your race. Attack races get more for their attack weapons for example. ---- "The perfect computer has been developed. You just feed in your problems and they never come out again" - Al Goodman | |||

While I hate to be a bother Sasha, I have no understanding of how these defense credits work. Would you please help me with a brief description? Regards. ---- I'm just a cheeseburger in paradise. | |||
| Okay, bug fixed. ---- "The perfect computer has been developed. You just feed in your problems and they never come out again" - Al Goodman | |||
| Sasha - Thank you for fixing the bug (did't know there was one). However, my question still stands. How many credits should I get from a successful defense? How are the credit awards determined? For the second consecutive round I'm heavily invested in defense and would reaaly like an understanding of how these function as we already understand how attack credits function. Thanks. ---- I'm just a cheeseburger in paradise. | |||
| hey sasha. i'm interested in how defense credits are counted also. i didn't go in for def this game but i did last time. one creditper attack? one credit per thousand attack total? what? ---- groovy..... | |||
| Same here ---- Fell out my chair... This could take a while. | |||
