It is postponed until January 2, so people can do stuff for Christmas and still be able to play at the start.

Is it still ending December 23rd? I'd rather if it would end then, have a week of pre-age beta testing that doesn't count, and then have the age start. Anyone with me? ---- All your HP are belong to us. Fire the Buster Cannon!

i am with vdraconis on this one. i think it would be good for the end of age 2 to be over on december 23rd, and then have a week to work out some of the bugs that have been pointed out. and not only that but it would give sasha a week to fully program all the new features that he would like to program into the new age. so what if the game is down for a week? that would mean two things.....one, it would give the people who want to travel for the holidays a chance to do that and not miss the beginning of the new age, and two, it would give some of the "hotheads" in the game to cool down and come up with a new strategy rather than having to re-use the old ones. but thats just my opinion. ---- Joe aka "Dubble Dukes"

Well I am the hothead minus the same strategies =) I like the idea about having like a beta or something in between... how about for that week you reinstate all of the things from beta 1 and give us like 2k soldiers each and 1 speed and let us fight it out oldschool style =) I just want a chance to use all old tactics and make all these new strategies go down the hole. I doubt you have the old game code but that would be really cool and a great christmas present to me... Yeah, perhaps one Beta where the amount of soldiers won't affect the outcome of the battle... And if you make it that way, you can clear my Karma too-- now look Sasha-- if you do it, you'll be back at number 1 in Karma-- it sounds like a good deal to me... ---- Think about it...

Ash 202 137 Ehh actually Ash is only 1 karma behind Sasha... he is going to pass him so Ash would need to give up his karma too. I know one thing I could go away for over a month come back and still be in first place for karma. Simply amazing.. Sash says the start time is being moved to after the holidays so people can do holiday things And you guys come in and say "Good idea, now Sasha will have time to work/change/modify/work/test/modify etc.. etc.." Anyone think maybe Sasha wants time off too? Maybe I'm wrong and Sasha is the Holiday Scrooge.. perhaps babies are sacrificed to the space god Zorkan in his hometown.. not a clue here. But for someone to give all of US the ability to enjoy the holidays - without the hassle of missing out on the start of a new age.. that's a great gift in itself. So, Sasha.. For the holiday season I hope you are capable of dropping off the face of the net.. enjoy life.. be with family and friends.. and forget this place exists for awhile. And we'll see you when the new year is here. CF
